Our Journeys

Every season, the same unhurried spirit.

Our flagship journey

Transylvania Untold

29 May – 11 June 2027·14 days

Fourteen days, from the grand squares of Timișoara to a mountain road that only opens once the ice lets go. This is Horizon Hues at its fullest castles and craftsmen, three nights in a real Maramureș village, and the Transfăgărășan itself, timed to the short season each year it’s passable.

A winding mountain road with multiple switchbacks, surrounded by rocky terrain and green patches, with a lake and buildings in the background.
The spring edition

Transylvania in Spring: Castles & Craftsmen

8 – 21 May 2027·14 days

The same unhurried route, told in spring light. In place of the high mountain pass — not yet open this early in the year an afternoon in the sparkling cellars of Azuga and a walk through the halls of Peleș Castle. Same castles, same craftsmen, a different season’s version of the story.

A large fairytale castle with tall spires, surrounded by trees and a garden with shrubs and plants, under a partly cloudy sky.
The smallest of our journeys

Autumn Spirits of Transylvania

26 Oct – 2 Nov 2027·8 days / 7 nights

Eight days, and one evening that exists nowhere else. This is the smallest of our journeys ten to fifteen guests centred on Noaptea Pragului, a signature candlelit ceremony at Zabola Estate, found on no other itinerary in Romania.

A scenic view of a historic European town with red-tiled roofs, a prominent stone church with a tall steeple and a clock, surrounded by lush green hills under a partly cloudy sky.
