Small-group journeys through Romania

Some places don’t reveal themselves through a bus window.

Slow, small-group journeys through Romania real villages, real artisans, real stories, at a pace that actually lets you arrive.

Welcome to Horizon Hues

Travel the way it used to feel

Horizon Hues was built around a simple idea - that the best way to see Romania isn’t from a coach window on a fixed schedule, but at the pace of the people who actually live here. Small groups. Real villages instead of tourist strips. Artisans and farming families who open their doors because they want to, not because it’s on a checklist.

Our guides are briefed to tell you stories, not recite dates. What you’ll remember isn’t a list of monuments it’s the afternoon you spent with your hands in wet clay, or the lunch a farming family made from what’s grown right outside their kitchen door.

My Story

I’ve spent my working life as a guide, in more places than I can easily count. Somewhere in all that wandering, Romania waited.
